Please read these Terms before connecting your account. By approving an OAuth connection or using AeroPlan IQ Connect, you agree to them.
1. About these Terms
These Terms govern your use of AeroPlan IQ Connect, a feature provided by Drone Perspective Ltd (company number 17210585). They apply when you connect an AeroPlan IQ account to a supported third-party AI assistant. They supplement any other terms that apply to your AeroPlan IQ account and the connected provider’s own terms.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must have an eligible AeroPlan IQ account, be legally able to accept these Terms and have authority to connect the account and use any operational data involved. You must not connect an account belonging to another person or organisation without permission.
3. Connecting with OAuth
Connect uses OAuth. The AI provider redirects you to AeroPlan IQ to sign in and review the requested permissions. Your AeroPlan IQ password is not disclosed to the AI provider. Access is limited to the permissions you approve and remains subject to account status, ownership and service controls.
4. Permissions
Read permissions may allow the connected assistant to retrieve selected account context, saved operations, aircraft records and planning information. Optional draft permissions may allow it to prepare operation or document drafts.
Draft permissions do not authorise silent saving. A proposed draft must be reviewed and explicitly approved through AeroPlan IQ before it can be committed. Separate permissions may apply to operation drafts and document drafts.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for protecting your account, reviewing every requested permission, checking all retrieved information and proposed drafts, and revoking access you no longer require. Do not put information into a connected assistant unless you are authorised to share it with both AeroPlan IQ and that provider.
6. Aviation and operational responsibility
AeroPlan IQ Connect is planning and decision-support technology. It does not approve flights, grant aviation or landowner permission, sign documents, certify safety or confirm legal compliance. The Remote Pilot and relevant operator remain responsible for official-source checks and every legal, safety and operational decision.
7. Third-party AI providers
Supported AI services are operated independently. Their availability, outputs, security controls, terms and privacy practices are outside our control. A reference to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another provider describes technical compatibility only and does not imply sponsorship, endorsement or partnership.
8. Prohibited use
You must not use Connect unlawfully; attempt to bypass permissions or review controls; access another user’s data; interfere with security or availability; reverse engineer protected parts of the service; submit malicious material; or present AI output as official aviation approval, signed evidence or a final safety decision.
9. Availability and changes
Connect may be changed, restricted, suspended or withdrawn to protect users, comply with law, maintain security, respond to provider changes or operate the service. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Where practical, material changes will be communicated through the website or service.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access where an account is ineligible, these Terms are breached, security is at risk, law or a regulator requires it, or a connected provider is no longer supported. You may stop using Connect at any time by revoking the connection. Revocation prevents future authorised access but does not automatically delete records already retained lawfully by either provider.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AeroPlan IQ Connect is provided as a planning and drafting aid. We are not responsible for decisions made from AI output, failure to verify official sources, misuse of permissions, or acts and omissions of an independent AI provider. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory statutory rights.
12. Privacy and data
Our Privacy Policy explains how Drone Perspective Ltd processes personal data for Connect. The connected AI provider processes data under its own privacy terms. Review both before authorising a connection.
13. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
